My recent stay at a lovely guesthouse was absolutely delightful. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my visit. The location felt safe and quiet, and it was within walking distance of all the main sights in the city. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, with big windows and a charming little balcony. I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the room when I requested cleaning during my stay. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back to stay at this guesthouse.

The only drawback I encountered was the poor wifi connection. Despite multiple resets, it did not work on my phone or laptop in the room.

I had a fantastic time at Thapae Gate Lodge. I stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The location of the hotel is excellent, with plenty of great restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood. Getting around the city was a breeze with Grab, and the fares were very affordable. The room was comfortable and the beds were great for a good night's sleep. They even provided complimentary water, which was a nice touch. The staff were incredibly friendly, although their English could have been better. a wonderful stay.

Great location, close to Elephant Nature Park, vegan restaurant, laundry options, and The Lost Book Store. Well-equipped room with AC, kettle, hot water, small balcony, and safe. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely book again if I return to the city.

The location is super convenient, right in the heart of the old town and close to all the major tourist attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, with recently redone facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The breakfast was diverse and delicious, offering a great start to the day.

The air conditioning in the room had some initial issues, but the staff made an effort to fix it and even compensated us with a complimentary breakfast.
